Signs Your Brake Pedal Needs to be Repaired

It may be time to have your vehicle’s brakes serviced if you’ve started to notice a sponginess when you depress the brake pedal. It’s common to take the brakes for granted when they’re operating as they should. It’s critical, however, to have them serviced on a regular basis.

One of the main reasons for a soft pedal is due to air in the lines. That air blocks the brake fluid from moving through the lines like it should. When fluid’s blocked, it can’t create the force it needs to cause the caliper to press the pads and rotors together. If, on the other hand, one of the steel lines has corroded, you may have a leak.
