We here at Fletcher Hyundai have to hand it to our esteemed South Korean automaker. It did a straight-up superb job in reimagining its compact sedan, the Hyundai Elantra, for the 2017 model year.

Is it the very best one yet? We'd like you be the judge. So, go ahead and join Kelley Blue Book Managing Video Editor Micah Muzio in the clip below. His assessment of the Elantra is as follows:

Far and away its most fuel-efficient offering, the Eco trim is sure to be one of the Elantra's more popular. Propelled by a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder, the Eco is rated at a respectable 128 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque.

As aforementioned, however, it's in the realm of fuel economy where the Eco really shines. Estimated to achieve a terrific 35 mpg combined (32 city/40 highway), this turbo-four is quite clearly one smart cookie.

If you'd like to learn more about this charming compact, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Joplin, MO dealership. Our automotive aficionados are ready to answer your every question about the Elantra, or any other Hyundai model within the present portfolio.
